Site Update – VW T4 Transporter Autohomes Camper Info Site
Added a new model history page for the VW T4 Transporter Autohomes Karisma at VW T4 Autohomes Karisma Model History.
Not to confused with the earlier VW T25 Autohomes Karisma the VW T4 Autohomes Karisma was a totally new design built on VW’s Long Wheel Base (LWB) chassis. Only produced between 1996 and 1997 the VW T4 Autohomes Karisma is quite a rare model. Similar in layout and equipment specification to the more common Autosleeper Topaz the Autohomes Karisma cost over £700 more than its Autosleeper rival in Dec 1996. The extra length enabled the fitting of a bathroom including washbasin, cassette toilet and shower at the rear of the vehicle making it extremely practical.
